Our Culture Nature Commitment
A citizen-led, eco-responsible, free initiative designed for small-scale, short-circuit productions to guarantee product quality through meetings and information exchanges between producers and their clients. This initiative is based on mutual goodwill, trust, and reciprocity established between the parties.
The producer who wishes to participate in the Culture Nature initiative and use the associated logo commits to :
Conducting their production with total respect for soil life and the biodiversity of the cultivation environment.
Not to use synthetic fertilizers or synthetic pest control products that could contaminate the soil and the food produced.
Ensure product traceability at all times.
Offer clients the opportunity to meet with them to ask questions about their practices. These meetings can take place at the production site, the delivery location, a public market, or a local store. They can also occur by phone, email, or any other communication method deemed appropriate by both parties.
This evolving, citizen-driven, and free initiative was conceived by Yves Gagnon of Jardins du Grand-Portage.
